A delegation from the Copperbelt University in Kitwe, Zambia paid a courtesy call at the Zambia Embassy in Washington, DC.
The delegation is in the United States for a series of meetings with partner academic and research institutions with whom they collaborate with and to establish new links.

They also met with members of the Copperbelt University Alumni based in the USA.

October 8th, 2014 - Government says the $354 Million Millennium Challenge Corporation compact on water, sanitation and drainage is on course.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Mines, Energy and Water Development Ms. Charity Mwansa says the compact which is expected to benefit more than one million people in Lusaka will see a provision of clean water to hundreds of low income households and therefore minimize water borne diseases
