Family, Friends and Colleagues Come Together to Remember the Life of the Late Diplomat Mwansa Albert Ntemena at a Memorial Service in Washington DC.

Zambia’s Ambassador to the U.S. His Excellency Dr. Ngosa Simbyakula S.C. was joined by Malawi’s Ambassador to the U.S His Excellency Mr.Edward Yakobe Sawerengera at the memorial service held in Washington DC to remember the life of the late diplomat Mwansa Albert Ntemena who passed on recently after a short illness.

Others in attendance were his widow and children, fellow diplomats representing both the Washington D.C. and UN Missions and the Zambian Diaspora community.

Mr. Ntemena served at the Washington DC Mission since December 2014 t as First Secretary (Political & Administration).

During his address, His Excellency Dr. Simbyakula, described the Late Mr. Ntemena as a dear colleague and friend with a pleasant disposition whom he had the great honour to work with.

He was also described by Michael Ntemena his son, as a loving husband, father and friend who was kind to everyone.

The service which was held on the 11th of January from 12PM to 1PM was characterised by prayer, hymns, scripture readings and comforting words from Pastors Mr. and Mrs. Chongo, Pastor Lisulo and Rev. Dr. Mulenga.

The Late Mr. Ntemena will be missed greatly. MHSRIEP
